Cookie Policy
Effective 9 July 2026 · DataSpark Pte. Ltd.
This Cookie Policy explains how DataSpark Pte. Ltd. ("DataSpark", "we" or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on dataspark.pro. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. By using our website and interacting with our cookie consent banner, you make choices about how optional cookies are deployed.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function correctly, remember preferences and understand how visitors interact with content. Similar technologies include local storage entries used to remember cookie consent choices for up to six months.
2. How We Use Cookies
DataSpark categorises cookies into three groups displayed in our consent banner: Essential, Analytics and Marketing. Essential cookies are required for basic site operation and cannot be disabled through our banner. Analytics and Marketing cookies are optional and deployed only when you accept all cookies, or when you customise preferences to enable them.
3. Essential Cookies
Essential cookies support core website functionality including navigation, security and consent record keeping. Examples include session identifiers that maintain sidebar state during mobile navigation and local storage keys that record your cookie consent decision so the banner does not reappear on every visit. These cookies do not track you across third-party websites for advertising purposes.
4. Analytics Cookies
When enabled, analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use dataspark.pro — which pages are viewed, how long sessions last and whether navigation paths indicate interest in programmes or services. We use aggregated analytics to improve content structure, page performance and accessibility. Analytics data is not sold to third parties.
Typical analytics metrics include page load times, scroll depth on programme descriptions, referral sources from professional networks and device categories used by enterprise visitors. We configure analytics tools to anonymise IP addresses where supported and to respect the rejection choice stored in local storage when you select Reject all on our banner.
5. Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies, when enabled, may support measurement of campaign effectiveness or retargeting on third-party platforms. DataSpark is an enterprise analytics provider, not a consumer marketing agency; our use of marketing cookies is limited and focused on professional audience outreach. You may decline marketing cookies without affecting essential site functionality.
We do not deploy marketing cookies to profile individual visitors for unrelated advertising networks. Where retargeting pixels are used, they are limited to measuring interest in analytics briefings or DSX programme content and are disabled by default until you provide consent through Accept all or Customise preferences.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third-party services integrated into our website, such as font delivery providers or analytics platforms. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We select providers with reasonable security practices and, where applicable, data processing terms aligned with Singapore PDPA expectations.
Google Fonts may receive technical connection data when fonts are loaded from Google servers. We use preconnect hints to minimise latency. If you reject optional cookies, font delivery continues because typography is essential to readable presentation of our platform content.
7. Cookie Durations
Essential session cookies typically expire when you close your browser. Consent preference storage in local storage persists for approximately six months before the banner reappears. Analytics cookies, when accepted, may persist between thirty days and thirteen months depending on vendor defaults; we configure the shortest practical retention where settings allow. Marketing cookies follow similar durations and are never set without explicit consent.
8. Managing Your Preferences
When you first visit dataspark.pro, a cookie banner offers three options: Accept all, Reject all or Customise. Customise allows granular control over Analytics and Marketing categories while keeping Essential cookies active. Your selection is stored in browser local storage under the key dataspark_cookie_consent for approximately six months, after which the banner may reappear to confirm your preferences.
You may also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may impair website functionality, including mobile navigation and consent persistence. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.
9. Do Not Track
Our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals in a uniform industry-standard manner. You may use our cookie banner and browser controls to limit optional tracking as described above.
10. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, regulation or our practices. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
